The BG one on the right, is that a lake?
I think the left one is better, considering chocobos are land creatures. :)
I like the one on the right better, your character seems to blend in with the background in the first one. Both are very pretty though! (:

I prefer the better framing you get in the right- I don’t have to squint to see where the taru stops and the sky starts. ^^
The chocobos in FF7 can walk over water! Esp the gold choco! It isn’t a land creature la!

I like the one on the right, it just seems cleaner and brighter and showcases your character and the chocobo nicely.

Left! I think the background complements the general coloring of the artwork well. :)

^^ You’re very talented. Personally, I don’t really like sunsets (I prefer cooler colors, but I’m not an artist >.>;) but I actually like the left for that picture. It just seems more appropriate for some reason. Probably because you’re hugging the chocobo and the backgroud seems more warm/affectionate. P.S. I liked that emoticon story ^^
