This wouldn’t have came in that smooth if Olorin haven’t decided to pass for me. It was very nice of him to see that I haven’t gotten a single piece, hence offer to pass for me.

Not expecting Morrigan pieces to drop = wasn’t prepared in terms of Materials… I had to get Jackalman to lend me his stack of Marid Leather =_=” But in return, I lend him Imperial Wootz Ingot ;) Nice trade right? LOL

Red Mage Gear Adjustment

With these new equipment, I have to adjust a few pieces of Mai equipment.

Mai Cure 4 Equipment (Massive -Enmity)
Main: Apollo’s Staff
Sub: Staff Strap (-2 Enmity)
Ammo: Hedgehog Bomb (-1 Enmity)
Head: Nashira Turban (-5 Enmity)
Neck: Fenrir’s Torque (Occasionally -3 Enmity)
Ear1: Novia Earring (-7 Enmity)
Ear2: Heaven’s Earring +1 (-2 Enmity)
Body: Mahatma Houppelande (-4 Enmity)
Hands: Nashira Gages (-4 Enmity)
Ring1: Communion Ring
Ring2: Tamas Ring (-3 Enmity)
Back: Errant Cape (-5 Enmity)
Waist: Theta Sash (-5 Enmity)
Legs: Mahatma Slops (-4 Enmity)

With 4 merits into further -Enmity reduction, I have a total of 48+4 = -52 Enmity (or 49 if its Daytime due to Fenrir’s Torque). According to Kanican’s Enmity research, amount cured = the amount of hate. But since -1 Enmity = 1% less hate, so my Cure 4 is now technically only giving me the hate less than a “normal” Cure III :) (-52 Enmity = -52% less hate, so I might be curing for 400, but the hate level that I get is only equivalent to curing for 192) I can now spam Cure 4 like nothing :)

RDM’s highest cure spell is Cure 4, so it is wise to equip as much -Enmity as possible, making it practical to use them rather than “avoiding” them. I can see it being very effective :) I can cure all day and rarely take hate now ^_^

The upgrade is at the shoe! Its now got more MND :O Definately an improvement over Mahatma Pigaches. But I still have to keep that shoe due to the extra -1 Enmity :O

There’s also an upgrade from Devotee Mitts +1 to Morrigan Cuffs. Morrigan hands provide Magic Acc bonus, which I find it much more practical than MND. Sometimes… enfeebling like Bind… only matters when it lands… if it doesn’t land… what’s the point so… I’d take Magic Accuracy for that spell.

Yes, I can use another 2 more MND from swapping the Enfeebling Earring with another Communion Earring [Maiev] but… you got to also balance out the chance of resisting it. Although Paralyze II is pretty low in recast even if you miss it, but still you wouldn’t want to waste MP re-casting it becuase you stack all your damn equipment to MND.

The MND in this setup is too much but….remember a testing that I’ve done only shows 95MND is needed to cap out MND? But here’s the deal.. when you are in Salvage.. most of the time u have gear restriction, so reaching the cap is a lot harder. So I’ve equip all slots with MND… that way in Salvage I can cast the best Stoneskin all the time… since its all MND already.

Maiev’s Cure II / III Equipment.

This one is pretty much Cure 4 setup, but now with 2 ticks of MP and a little bit of FastCast. This is also with -36 Enmity Setup while remaining sustainable. Cure2/3 are usually as normal cure for myself and.. quick cure if they are near dead, so its more balanced in terms of MND/Cast Speed… whereas Cure IV is pure -Enmity so I won’t die to save others.

Its been an upgrade, I’ll slowly post more as I get some time, but I have tons of development projects to work on for work too :( so I doubt I’ll be free anytime soon T_T.
